I’m Alicia - concert photographer, professional show-chaser, and the woman behind NYXA.
I photograph live music because I give a shit about what it felt like, not just what it looked like.
The sweat.
The eye contact.
The bad lighting.
The guitar hanging too low.
The five seconds onstage that nobody else thought to catch.
I’m just as comfortable against the barricade as I am backstage, and I believe the best photos come when artists stop noticing there’s a camera in the room.
NYXA started with photography, but it was never supposed to end there. I’m building a life in live music - photography, touring, artist support, management, and wherever else the road takes me.
I don’t want to watch the music industry from the outside. I want to be useful inside it.
